Not sure if you are aware of this but those of you who enjoy listening to the vibrant sound of Bournemouth Band The Pudenski Brothers can catch up with Martin at the virtual Wight Bear on Tuesday Evenings at 07:30. The Wight Bear through Jodie one of the staff is hosting a virtual pub with live music from Martin from his musical attic. To go along to the virtual gig you need to have access to Zoom. Zoom can be run on mobile phones, tablets and computers and gives you a way of socialising like we did pre Covid-19 in the comfort of your own home. If you had been at the bear on Tuesday you would have seen a shameless plug for Google Reviews as well
Once you are in Zoom and logged in you will need to locate the Virtual Wight Bear, the meeting room for the pub is 2739 5020 01 you will also need a password which will be available by sending a message to the Wight Bear on Facebook.
Virtual Wight Bear
Once you have found your way into the virtual Wight Bear you will find the same friendly faces and superb Acoustic Eighties songs that you know and love. Martin will be playing smash hits of the 80s from The Pudenski Brothers song sheet often fitting in Southbourne's local favourite of number 30 which for those of you who don't know is Electric Light Orchestra cover Mr Blue Sky. Martin is definitely helping us all through isolation and can only perform as 50% because you are currently not allowed to go around and see your brother from another mother in another household, however he is missing Craig and his wonderful Cajon and Kazoo.
It will be great to see you in there from 07:30 pm on Tuesday where the typical night sees two forty-minute sets. Anyone familiar with Zoom will understand the 40-minute sets. Hopefully, we get to see you down under on Tuesday at the Wight Bear where you can get to hear songs from all over the world. We go to Norway, Sweden, Australia, Germany, Austria and New Zealand on a regular basis. Here is Men At Work Cover and known as the Australian National Anthem but officially known as Down Under.
Whilst you are watching Martin on Zoom what better way than to be sipping on some of your favourite Wight Bear brews. Dave and the team are putting themselves about as part of their new Home Delivery Service. They Delivery beer/cider every Fri & Sat 4-7pm from their online shop.
They have made all of your normal favourites available, here is just a selection of what they have in 3-litre bags available from the shop.
