We are a totally live band who don't use backing tracks as our band members guitarist and vocalist Martin and percussionist Craig plays acoustic instruments and sings classic 1980s songs.

The lineup doesn't change and the boys play songs from multiple genres maybe you want to celebrate with some 1980s Nostalgia Both of us are singers and have a mutual love of excellent nineteen-eighties party music and we believe that we excel at performing at parties’ weddings, your corporate party and events. We don't just play oldies in our live set list and you can check out our setlist for the types of live music we play. Maybe you still have in the wardrobe a Frankie Says T-shirt, or that Choose Life T-shirt? As a duo, we only play classic and popular songs, with years of experience playing top-level functions,  and live wedding bands, we are a vibrant music act who never fail to get the whole room dancing.

Tuesday Night at the Wight Bear in Southbourne

We like to think that we are one of the best bands who are available for hire committed to providing party entertainment by dedicated lively musicians encouraging you to dance. Influenced by folk, rock and roll, classic rock, reggae, funk, punk, rock and pop we provide an upbeat feeling for your party, we may even throw in a bit of disco. When we are out and about performing our special live music groove in Bournemouth we take a look back towards the music bands of our youth and perform acoustic songs in our own unique eclectic style (We have been described as energetic Duracell Bunnies), we sometimes through in a little Rock n Roll. Craig is a drummer and plays the Cajon with a distinct rhythm providing the percussion, sounding like a whole range of drums and rhythm-section, he also sings the harmonies to some of the eighties classics. Lead singer Martin plays guitar, harmonica and occasionally Irish bouzouki making sure you get a night to remember. We even cover songs written for Elvis by Mungo Jerry's Ray Dorset.

We promise to keep you moving with a mix of new and old school classics, dance hits,  the type of song which made it to No.1 in the charts based upon how many 7inch singles had been sold on Saturday at Woolworths, be it a more mellow acoustic afternoon at a function, or an evening partying the night away. Our back catalogue of tracks on our song list is constantly changing with the band adding new-music versions of songs to our catalogue on a weekly basis, this allows each gig to be unique and fresh whether it is performing as a wedding band, a party band, a function band, dance party or just a night out at the pub.

We can't promise you a game of Pacman and we certainly won't be bringing along our Cabbage Patch Dolls, My Little Pony or He-Man models, however, we can promise you an evening of Music from the era of big hair, primitive video games, pop songs and New Wave music. As lovers of anything ’80s, we’re very proud of the fact that the decade yielded such an influential genre of music.

The Pudenski Brothers have been playing in different local bands, some cover bands, sometimes a rock band, always live bands at other times playing original songs providing your event entertainment for the last 30 years. Craig and Martin are not real brothers, they just happen to share a similar musical taste and use their musical skills to celebrate music out and about the Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch area. The band specialise in music from the time when everyone was attempting to solve the Rubik’s Cube, Madonna was like a virgin, and thanks to Irene Cara and the Kids from the fame academy leg warmers were de rigueur, and so much more. Fronted by Martin Rice, the Pudenski Brothers have been involved in community events providing live entertainment within the local community as well as playing the local music venues in the conurbation and surrounding areas.

It was back in October 2018 and where Southbourne high street saw the invasion of the horror show for Frankenfest 2018, a Music Festival on the High Street. Martin and Craig took to the stage suitably dressed to impress and was assisted from dancer 'Pink'

We have also been involved with local Music Festivals The Southbourne Revival a community event run in 2019 due to the cancellation of the Shake and Stir Vintage Festival.
